It's that kind of night

Hey All,

After 5 weeks into the school year, I am already looking forward to a much needed break (come on' Thanksgiving) For those of you that don't know my schedule, I teach full time, go to class 6 hours a week for my Masters, and plan the occasional wedding on the side; oh did I mention that I try to have a life, take time for me, AND am training for a half-marathon. Yah...I am a little nuts. But I DID have the entire summer off and slept in until at least 10AM everyday. So I guess my motto would be, Work hard, Play hard.

Anyway, with all that said, I think tonight I deserve a break and will treat myself to a mojito; or 2 or 3?

A Quick Southern California Weekend

Some photos from my weekend trip to California for Melissa and TJ Gordy's Wedding!
What a fun trip! It was great seeing all my old friends from high school. Can't wait for my next California trip. I love that state. Maybe in the next 8 months I will even be moving there! You never know. Stay Tuned!

Tiffany Blue and Bright Red

Photo Credit: From Fiance 2 Wife
Tiffany blue and bright red are my favorite design colors at the moment. I am dying to do a wedding with this color scheme. I found some pictures on several blogs that could help inspire you to do something with these colors too! Send me the pictures please! I love the blue as the base color and the red as the accents. You could also incorporate a white or a soft silver into the mix as well! Have fun!

Adamson House

This weekend I had the pleasure to attend the wedding of some great high school friends. The wedding was at the Adamson House in Malibu, California. If you are looking for an event space for a christmas party or wedding consider the Adamson House (for all you California people). Below are photos of the space. Photos from my trip will be posted shortly!

Winter Boots

It's that time again. Time to purchase another pair of boots in preparation for cooler weather! One of my favorite outfits is a dress with tights and a pair of equestrian boots! Never goes out of style. Here are a few of my choices for this fall. All boots are from Steve Madden or Anthropologie. Which is your favorite?

Already purchased these little booties!!! Waiting for them to arrive from Zappos :)

New York, New York

So many of you may not know, but I lived in New York City for a year. It was one of those things I just had to get out of my system. I haven't been back to the city in over a year so I just booked myself a quick trip for November to visit the city that never sleeps. In honor of my trip I am blogging about my favorite things to do and see. If I am missing anything please send me your suggestions so I can add that to my to-do list for my next trip to the city.

ROY-G-BIV

Whether you are thinking about your Friday night outfit, your color scheme for your next event, or how to spice up your boring living room decor, always remember that there are so many more colors aside from the basics; red, green, black, grey, etc...

Just thinking about red alone you have burgandy, maroon, red, rose, wine, and much, much more! Hopefully these photos will help you break out of your black and white shell!

Have a great day!
