
In case you didn't know, John French was a London born Fashion and Portrait photographer. (1906-1966) It amazes me that these photos were taken so many years ago, yet the photos remain as stylish and classic as ever. I would think that this is the definition of timeless style. If given the oppurtunity I would take any outfit or look and wear them out on the street today. Enjoy his work below!

John French's fashion photographs remind me of the
classic fashion work - style and grace - of the late Irving Penn who died last Ocotober. Penn was the definitive photographer of fashion for over five decades. Penn could make a cirgarette butt look
interesting, and he did.
